Have you serviced or used any Omoto reels?  Any comments?

alantani

yes, early models had a few issues, later models look pretty good.  anything in particular that you were wondering about?

Is the 2009 model Uliess OK?  Any problems with the drag if I use 65# braid?

alantani

not sure of the model number, but you should be fine if it is the model i am thinking of.  what's your max drag at strike before losing freespool?

I haven't seen that reel in a couple of months now.  Though you gave it away.  ???
:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

alantani

this one is gold and it is missing a handle.  i needed it to repair another reel that alan had sent over.

I that the gold reel on the bench with a reel cover, no handle?  If it is, it's next to the bearing.
