will this be the only reel you can fish straight out of the box or is it just hype.interesting to say the least.

no.  that goal still eludes me.  i believe spool bearings are open, but non-spool bearings are still only 20% filled with grease.  i also believe that they will come around when they start having to honor their 5 year warranties.  alan
