I'm not a salt water guy but to do a favor I've cleaned and lubed a pair of these for
a guy. They were moderately corroded, replaced drag stack.
What would your labor charge be for these ?

if it was a favor I wouldnt charge anything for labor, just couple of beers someday.

charge per reel depends on many situations, cleaning agents used, size of the reel, if it was cleaned totally or just add new grease, quality of oil/grease used, etc, etc.

If you go to the Penn website and look under reel repair, they provide a schedule of prices for various reels. In my shop, I charge $22 for labor for most single speed reels unless there is serious corrosion in which case labor rises to $32. I lower my labor prices 20% in the off season -- October through April in Alaska.
