I have a 114 H with Marroon side plates and externally replaceable drags. It has 3 thick drag washers. I am using it with wireline on Bahamas Wahoo.
What carbon fibre drags do I need?
Should I change to stainless gears?
Any other worthwhile upgrades?
And finally about what year range might this reel be?

What we normally do is to set drag at 20 lbs and hold the boat speed at 8 knots after a strike, for a minute or so, once  we are in deep water away from the reef and the Sharks, start reeling.

You need (5) 6-115 HT-100 drag washers & 1 more eared washer & 1 more keyed washer, & a 4-115 fiber washer for under the main gear.

and one of these for under the gear.

Your stock gears will hold up fine to 20lbs.

I just put that drag kit in the same type reel as yours.  Mine had a steel main gear and the groove cut inside the gear for the ears on the flat washer only went about 3/4 of the way down.  Not a problem with the thick washers, but with the thinner 5 stack, I wasn't sure the first eared washer would go down far enough.  One of the original metal keyed washers was much thicker than the other and thicker than the new ones.  I put the old thick metal washer on top of the first fiber washer and built the stack in sequence from there. It worked fine and pulled right at 30 lbs. max at the reel.
