Does anyone have any cool scrimshaw pieces to showcase?

Thought I'd start a thread.

My roommate just got off of a 46 day commercial swordfish Longline fishing trip out of San Francisco.  A local artist created this for him, out of 2 Broadbill bills he provided him with before departing port...

This work was performed by Bruce Lanham.

Here is his website...

Very nice scrimshaw!

Here's a money clip/pocketknife/nail file my wife bought me in Boston a few years back.

Among all those other hats I wear .... ::)....yes, a scrimshander, too.

Now I'll have to go back down to the man cave and take a couple pics of me handiwork.

Back soon.

A couple of things I scrimmed. Hard hat with a hodge podge of imagery. Just for grins.

My 5 gal. Trash can bucket with a Maori design.

My powder horn and measure. Enough from me for now.

That is alot of scrimshaw.  Looks like you'very got some skills and patience too, but we already knew that ;)

Here is my piece of Baleen with some rough sketched scrimshaw in place...
