Penn Accurate Conversions...The good 'ol days

  There is not much info about when these parts were made.... from what I've heard they made gaffs first, then went to aftermarket penn components, then to full accurate reels. Does anyone know how long these parts were being produced ?

Thanks for sharing your knowledge, and that beautiful collection of reels!  

So there are a few of the early/first year or preproduction prototypes in that lot?  If so, have you noticed anything special or different about the prototypes, salesman samples, or first year production components?
