daiwa costal help

i just got a brand new daiwa costal tws just last month. used it for maybe the third or fourth time yesterday and well it broke. it was my fault i disengaged the spool with a angry 3lb largemouth on the end of my line. so now it disengages fine but now when i engage it the tws system wont engage. the reel also seems in some way to be half engaged because the handle wont spin like it used to. would like to know if this is something i can fix myself by opening it up or if a actual part needs to be replaced. thanks

This my friend happened to a good friend of mine , because he is useless with tools he gave me it to open , it was not a Coastal but a Zillion, i do believe they are very similar , it turns out that inside of the gear box the pinion gear was missing some teeth and the smaller gear below it had blown some teeth too , not rocket science to repair , hope this helps ....
