Sneak peak at the rod I'm building for my 12/0 Daron suped up for me. I haven't taken it out yet because I wanted to build this first. It's 80lb. Will be 7'6" overall. White blank with red and blue wraps and gold trip bands. Re used Uni butt from a stock penn rod (black and gold) and all alps guides with BB roller.

This was supposed to be the final coat but the band from the motor to the chuck jumped last night while I was sleeping and the epoxy ran down and clumped up on one side. Had to cut it smooth and re do it. So it's drying now and I'll have the butt glued tomorrow.
