I finally had some time to work on some Tiburon frames I got from Randy.  Started with a 114H using Alan's 5/0 handle and Gen II kit, Three Se7ens drag kit and misc other stuff I don't remember right now.  Wouldn't you know it the darn dog spring up and disappeared on me.  I put it together without the spring in order to make sure everything went together as it had been a while since I tore it up.  When I get this one I have another Penn half frame and spool to do my other 114H with and then on to a 113H.  I need to just order me a half a dozen dog springs for 112H, 113H, and 114H.   :)

Ken, the 112H & 113H use the same coil spring. The 114H uses a flat brass spring that you can cut out of a piece of sheet brass.       Rudy

Thanks Rudy.  Perhaps I can find some brass locally.

If you have a local hardware store look for a piece of shim stock about .010" thick.

Thanks.  That helps.  KCD

I made some out of the spring from a bic lighter, just pry it off the top, grind the ears off and good to go.
