Guys,

Need some help here...trying to follow the tutorial and service a 114H.  I've greased and reassembled everything and now the anti-reverse doesn't seem to be engaging.  The dog seems to be in place, but no luck.  I've opened it up several times now, repeated the process with no luck.  Stepped away for a few to settle the nerves, still no luck.  Can someone point me in the right direction?  Thanks in advance.

Hard to figure out without photos. So is the flat spring installed correctly? Is the spring putting tension on the dog? If not straighten the spring a little before installing. Is the dog facing the right direction (flipped)? Really need a little more detail.    Rudy

Here's a couple of pics I just took...

I don't see the spring in the second photo. Straighten the spring out more so that it puts more tension on the dog.

It looks like the spring is on the wrong side of the dog in the second picture.

Got it!  The second photo wasn't the one I meant to use.  Even though the spring was seated properly, it wasn't putting quite enough tension.  A slight bend, some grease, and I'm back in action.  Thanks for the quick replies fellas!  :)

Jason, the straighter the spring before you install it the more tension on the dog. I usually just bend mine a little & then force it in under the most tension. I'm glad you got it worked out & your welcome.   Rudy
