The 2 speed button seems to pop out of low gear when I stop reeling. How do I fix? I am not hitting anything to disengage the low gear.

common problem that may have no easy fix.   sometimes a couple of drops of corrosion x will fix it, sometimes you have to replace the pin, sometimes you have to replace the release button, sometimes both.  if you fiddled with the handle nut, the points of the hex have to be pointed towards the screw holes.

Thanks Alan. Will try the above proceedures and worse case scenerio, send it back to Accurate for further inspection.
