avet sx raptor

Gday all just wanting to know if anyone has an avet sx raptor yet and if so can the drag positioner plate (i think thats what you would call it with all the little holes in it) be bolted strait on to a standard avet sx along with a new lever with the locating pin. I know the raptor has 2 drag plates and double the drag of standard sx but physically they look the same. iam just looking to add these components for a more positive set of the drag as i dont set it into the notches of the cam but just out and not looking to increase my drag at all.
I presume the mxl raptor would be the same to but not out yet.
how do other people find the email service when ordering parts from avet after new set of bevelle washers and female cam for a mxl mc

No. The two reels have different frames; the Raptor is slightly wider

The raptor is different.. Avets email sucks and there's really no way to purchase parts on line... The best way is to call them direct.. They always answer and are very helpful on the phone. Website is something they need to work on.
