180 arrives

Well my 180 arrived yesterday from USA and I am very happy with it. It makes a nice mate for my 185.

I really like the mottled spools.  I have them on my 160 and 165 Beachmasters.

That was a nice trick Bastro... finding a 180 and 185 with such similar mottled spools.  You ought to get enhanced value or double points or something.

Such a classy look!  Those sideplates remind me of my childhood tackle snags at the Jersey shore.

Great examples of the early models! I noticed the different tail plates. One is a stippled plate, the other a picture plate. On my old 180, I have the stippled plate, on yours is the picture plate. Either plate is correct for either reel. Just goes to show the randomness of how the reels were assembled back in the pre-war days.
