I always enjoy reading such things. I even like fishing older gear. But with linen line ? I'd rather not. But it looks like all who participated had fun & enjoyed themselves....Jeff

That's impressive.  I'm finding that the hardest part about fishing linen line is finding a spool of linen that is not rotted.  The second hardest part is remembering to remove and dry the line after every use.
