Wallace, I still don't get what you're talking about, That reel does not come with a bushing. If you think the reel is heavy with the aluminum spool, then I won't send you my 16/0.  I have one mounted on my boat for safety, just in case one of my buddies goes overboard, I can winch him back up( just kidding)  . Can you post a shot of that plate? Now I have to see it, but if everything is working just fine for you, we leave it at that.  :-\Sal
