Poly spool

Hi...hope you guys can be of some help.  I am looking for a spare spool for a smaller Abu Garcia spinner, and all I can find is a "Spool Assy Poly."  I dont know what poly is.  I've heard of graphite spools and aluminum spools.  The one on the reel is aluminum.  I don't really want a plastic/graphite spool.  I was hoping to have one loaded with braid and one with mono, so I can use with two separate rods (med-lt or med-heavy), depending on what type of fishing I intend.  The drag will handle either just fine.  I dont want to buy another reel, as I have plenty of spinners.  Wanting to start working on my casting collection.

Um...I guess you didn't need all that; I just want to know what a poly spool is ha ha!

The older reels had poly = polymer ie: plastic spools.
