Dont know a thing about Cobia... That is a nice fish. They look a lot like a fish from my area that is very much smaller that is also my favorite bait.... Jeff

Awesome catch! Cobia been on my bucketlist for a while. I think they look like a cross between a shark and a catfish.

Cobia tournaments up here in the Panhandle of Florida are big money tournaments. Besides the thousands of dollars in winnings boats up to 25' are given away.

It usually takes a 90 pounder to win and Dwight's fish would have been a money winner.

A bad thing is less fish are seen every year and they hang out at the oil rigs in Lousianna to spawn. They are too easy to catch when there.

Dwight did you just see him and chunk some cut bait? In the summer after every the spring run some big ones stay and hang around some local wrecks.

Amazing Dwight. Nice catch. Sorry to hear of lost lease. Maybe you can fish her again.
:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

Jackpot winner?  Troghy!

I don't get in the jackpot anymore since being on the Seeker Pro Staff makes me look like a professional fisherman. Just keeping tourist complaints to a minimum.

Very nice Cobia! When do we eat?
