Hey guys, I'm new on the site and to collecting but have been fishing since a kid. I have ended up with some older reels and have the feeling I need more. Here is a reel I picked up at a garage sale and having never heard of the reel offered $15 and they agreed. I'm starting to like the reel, just need to fix anti reverse. Im pretty new to repair, so any tips on fixing or general info; please let me know. Thanks

Those were good reels, quite similar to the BG series with the addition of an optional A.R. clicker.

More care had to be taken though, rinsing them off in freshwater after each use in the salt.

Anti-reverse is a straightforward dog and ratchet design, located underneath the rotor.

I believe Mikes Reel Repair (webite) lists schematics for these reels:

Thanks for tips. I'll try to fix next weekend.
