A trip to Allestree lake

I decided to have a change in venues within Derby and yesterday immediately after work I made a quick trip to Allestree park lake. The lake is stocked with specimen carp, pike, perch, roach and silvers. I absolutely loved the location and I caught a 800 g pike using my heavyweight combo ( Penn Fathom 25LW and Caperlan Seacoast 270).

If the weather permits on one of my off days I will come back at Allestree for some fishing and to explore the park (maybe take my other half)

The lake is located in Allestree park, in Derby UK.

Thanks for that, guess I'll have to wait to see that one.  It's bit of a drive from the Bay Area California.
