Yes here is more info;  Its not new really, but has been on the market for a few years, Its a trolling plug/lure called King Kandy, comes in several sizes and quite a few colors and finishes.
These things are working good for me ??? and so thats why I thought of you, all! :-*
I use the whole herring size and retie it with a 6ft leader of 40# Berkely Big Game mono for leader, Discarding the steelhead size red trailing hook and substituting an#1 treble.  The lure comes with a #6 Vmc Siwash that is their front hook, and it fits in a pocket molded in the side if the tail part of the plug. There are vent holes to let the air out and help them sink giving them a lifelike action of a slow death roll the salmon prefer.... Since these are a rig that spins a beadchain or several ball bearing swivels keep the line happy.
These lures offer some advantages to the troller person.
#1  They always spin the same, right out of the box..   Even my friends that cant catch their #### catch a few fish now? :o
#2  They dont get soft and change the spin thru the days soak.
#3  When a strike from a good or garbage fish occors you dont lose your bait and have to switch, losing you time and money
#4  You can change colors to meet the varied water colors
#5  You can always have a spare hotty insuring your confidence,  You never run out of bait. ;)
These are made in very good quality finishes, the Chrome series are Holographic and stunningly lifelike.
Check them out if you like to troll for Salmon,  they work for me,  just my cup of tee!
Point Wilson in Washington State is their Trademark.   Below is the site where they can be viewed further.
kingkandylures.com. is a place to start,  of course there are a few other places too,  Amazon.com sell a few colors and sizes but is quite limited.     I hope to show some more vidieos as soon as I get time indoors to sit down and rest up! ;D

:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

I've been catching almost all of my kings in the past three years on a spoon in the army truck color (pink, olive drag and glow). I run it with a single 6/0 or 7/0 siwash hook. I've never fished a king kandy lure but may try one this next spring. I see them ll the time at garage sales and have a few in tackle boxes I have picked up while looking for parts reels.

Thanks for the note,  Western auto in juno has a few upstairs.  The plug cut ones just dont work for me, as maybe I troll too fast?  The sardine, green chrome, and blue chrome seem to work best out here closer to the gulf.   I think the Kandy comes in an Army truck as well?     good fishin.   gst.
