Well there is hardly a shortage of mistreated 113's out there and maybe way down the list to get excited about, however each has its place. My buddy yard-saled a box fir me for $40, with the 113, 309, 209, 350. I'll take every box like that at the price.

What got my attention was the pristine, possibly nos, 24-56 three position power handle with my favorite butterscotch knob. I replaced a few bits here and there with better chrome and popped in a new sleeve (thanks Sal for the pin punch!). Not fighting wahoo here so built the drags for lock down bottom fishing and spooled fresh BG 40 lb.  Drag, free spool, wind all smooth as butta.

Thanks, folks. As Daron would say 'a little patina"....kind of like me, except mine is silver instead of green...same vintage but got a fish or two left in the tank I hope (meaning me, the 113 has plenty left).
