The 113 this morning fought me s bit and after lunch and a beer or three had a nap in the shop recliner. My kind of day. Woke up to clean up bench to get back to rods but the Allman Bros were speaking to me, and I saw this in the box of 4/0 Lego parts....

Randy has me something a little dressier for the framing but for the minute she's got her dress and a date for prom...

Thanks to Nick for the plates; your Thorhammer is coming along!!

"One Way Out'  every day on the way to work, full blast. Followed by "Can't You See" and "Gimme Back My Bullets". Otherwise I get cranky.

Looks great John. I'm drooling over that rod.

hey Nick, I palmed a 10500 at BPS the other day and it was mounted for display on a seat way smaller than I'm using. I should be into the threadwork this weekend. Do you want 'as I go " pics or get a surprise when it shows up?

You said a mouthful, buddy...I follow that set with Country Boy Can Survive, The Ride, And Good Hearted Woman. It takes a while to get to work, but it's 30 miles down a country road with hardwoods, couple lakes, and a few tractors. oh, and Dixie Chikkn....

I'm walking back to the bar from the restroom in a little dive in Santa Clara one Friday night a few years back and who do I run smack into, face to face with Greg Allman.  We shake hands and I tell him I love your work Greg, he smiles and goes back to his table.  A bit later someone pulls out a guitar and he starts playing, it was an epic night in the tavern for certain. I miss JJs

I think we all have the same walk. Some CCR will make it complete. ;)

Daron, you ain't gonna believe this, but "My Baby Left Me is playing as I write this, CCR GH Vol. II. LOL. Finished this one up with proper handle and a fantastic Newell frame / spool kit from Randy; note it is about a 3/16" or so wider than stock.

BTW,  this goes in your Black Beauty collection if my hook pulls unexpectedly.
