daiwa saltiga 30t help!

I just serviced 3 of my saltigas and I'm having a problem with 30t. When I button down the drag, the reel doesn't turn as well. Spool tension knob is fine. Everything else feels fine. Any help will be appreciated!

Can you describe what is not turning as well?  Is the drag not functioning correctly or does the handle get hard to turn?  If it is the handle, is it rough or just hard to turn?

Everything else seems to be performing right. Free spool, tension knob.  Reel turns perfect until I button it down to may be 3 or 4 clicks left, then it turns very stiff as spool tension knob is tightened all the way. It has very lightly greased carbon drags in it. May be too much of drag? My sa20 and sa30 seem to be working fine.

you mean that the handle is hard to turn?

Yes, the handle is hard to turn with drag buttoned down.

see the drag spring washers (key #56)?  i think you need another one.  send me a pm with your address and i'll mail one out.  alan
