Kes thank you for your reply, interesting, that you use an Omoto reel for long casting, I have service a couple of Omoto reels they are nice, most long casters use Daiwa, over here. cheers Don.

Hi Everybody,

Buck 110 here. I'm an old-timer getting back into fishing after some time away. I recently opened up a tote box and looked at some of my favorite reels from the '70s and '80s. Mainly spinners. I love the Abu Cardinal 54 and 55 that I used a lot in the past. Still have them, along with various Mitchells and D.A.M. Quicks. I plan to get them all rolling again.

Anyway, nice to be here and looking forward to learning a lot about vintage reels.
