Friend on site wanted an old Mitchell 305 round body reel -- and also a 301, which is the left hand version of the 300.

Like most left hand reels -- these are rare and tough to find in any condition.

After new old stock parts, complete tear-downs, cleaning, adjusting, shimming, tuning, and modern lubes -- they turned out well.

Installed a new shallow spool on the 305 -- and a deep spool on the 301.

Best Always,

They look amazing!
I'm gonna wrap the box and open it on Christmas. This is so cool. My first Yellowtail was caught on a 300 and I can't wait to actually use the correct hand to fight the fish. Now I need a brown vintage 20#class Fenwick to pair it with.
Thank you forever Fred.
