Penn 113h Handle Side Bearing

I just got a Penn 113H and the handle side bearing cup came out without any effort. Does this mean I need a new handle side plate? Any help would be appreciated.

As long as the cup fits flat inside the plate and does not wiggle around good to go, you could also wrap some teflon tape ( plumbers thread tape)  around to make a tighter fit.....Bill
