yellowtail conversion kit

ok if one never asks one will never learn, so with that being said, exactly what is a "yellowtail Conversion Kit" please explain it

Jim, I believe what you are referencing is a YTS. Yellow Tail Special. If thats what your talking about its a 4/0 Penn narrowed to 2 1/8" width. Excellent reel and it can be done with a Tiburon T4N frame and spool or Newell components or now we have some awesome Custom parts from Maxed Out to make the conversion.

Of course there are other internal and externals that can be added but that's the basic. It makes a great reel, one of my favorites and probably have a least a dozen or so floating around  here. If I were planning on reworking a 4/0, one of the first things I'd do is make the conversion to a YTS.
