STRIPER LOU

Hi all,

Just finished these for Bryan Y and he said its OK to post them up. He's in the area traveling and coming to the shop on Sunday.

The blue has gotten pretty popular since Tom's ICE Blue plates and Ted's blue bars. It actually goes well with most blue, silver, gold, and black reels.

I'm also using a new final polish that works with heat generated from buffing in the lathe at high speed. Seems to work well and takes on a pretty nice shine as the part warms up.

The knob on the left is straight shaft for JM and slightly smaller, the right is the flanged version needed for additional strength on the 4/0. That knob is also slightly larger. Whats your opinion on the polish?

Most of the older orders are in their final stages and hope to have them out in the next few weeks or so.

All have a great evening and best regard's,  ..  Lou

Amazing. My daughter will be pleasantly surprised. I guess I'd better start putting her reels together.
:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

seems like they just keep getting better and better!

Lou, your work never ceases to amaze and dazzle with breathtaking creative workmanship. The clouds of ribbon candy inside has a hypnotic effect. I can't stop looking. Your knobs are so highly regarded, a man will fly across the country to get his paws on them. Yep, they're that good !!

Bryan, you have to wait in line.  I'm waiting (sought of patiently) to doll up the Tank with one of Lou's red handles.  Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Please hang in there guys,  ....   there coming. Things at the shop have been flat out. The other night I didn't pack it in till 1:30 in the morning. Quality doesn't come from rushing.

All have a great day,  ..  Lou

Nice going Bryan, hope you can restrain yourself while hanging out with Lou. I would be in the dungeon playing with all his stuff, and I'd have a tough time leaving. ;D ;D

Lou makes the nicest grasps known to man... and there's the proof!
Lou, can't wait for my next three.  I may have to order more if you keep getting newer materials weekly. ;)
Bryan, have a great time with Lou and give him a big kiss for me. :-*
Also, Bryan it was my pleasure to have you over the house for a quick visit yesterday... I knew you were my kinda guy!
I was able to get the lactate that was stuck in the spindle... it was just a smear but that was enough to slow things down... all better now.
Stay well and safe travels,
Dom
