Few folks know that besides excellent and strongly over-engineered spinning reels -- D.A.M. also made a line of high quality baitcasters and fly reels.

Fred, what would you rather fish with a DAM spinner or conventional?
It may not be very productive,
but it's sure going to be interesting!

I fish with everything, Bill --

But I do prefer a spinner over a baitcaster, personally.

For me, at least, I can cover more water in a shorter amount of time -- with longer distance, as appropriate.

For me, this helps to search for where the fish are holding or feeding.

I am not a good fly fisherman -- but I try.
