penn 710z line

does anybody know what kind of braid will work on a 710z. I have heard berkley fireline, or maybe daiwa j braid. I am told power pro is not good on them, but i love it on my spheros, which i back with 25 lb mono so i dont need to waste so much braid. I  will be using it at the cape cod canal this spring but am wondering if it can handle the big 30 to 50 lb stripers that come through, or is it more of a spring schoolie reel. Same question for my 704Z'S. Thanks for the advice guys
