After reading a ton of informative posts by Alan on other sites, I was really excited to find he had his own.  I've been reading some posts, what a great group of people and an awesome resource of information.

I enjoy a lot of different kinds of salt and freshwater fishing with tackle. fly and centerpin.  Life's gotten busier for me recently, so honestly I spend more time casting at the Oakland Casting Ponds and tinkering with tackle.  I hope to be able to learn and contribute.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Welcome. I didn't know that Oakland had casting ponds. Very cool. I'm gonna have to look for it the next time I'm up there.
:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D
