SHIMANO TIAGRA 130A W/ ELECTRAMATE 1380GH - GRINDING SOUND

Hello, as a greenstick reel I bought a new Tigra130A and installed an Electramate 1380GH on it.

Everything is fine without load/drag on the reel, BUT

- When I attempted to retrieve the line, the motor worked but the
drive/spool did not engage so you could not spool any  line in.

- when I played with the drag (lever) and the spool of the reel, it engaged briefly and I managed
to get some line on the spool but it disengaged again (motor still running
but spool not turning) - a grinding sound

Then I tried it without line by applying drag gradualy w/ my hands on the reel spool. After a little drag applied the motor shaft (reel handle) is still turning, the spool disengaged and the grinding sound is coming from the reel.

What went wrong? Maybe I overthightened the preset drag when I tried it first and broke sth?
