Does anyone have any knowledge of these reels?

They appear to be a Millionaire/Luna, but without any magnetic brakes.

They also seem to have the traditional spool with a spindle and centrifugal brakes.

Any info would be much appreciated.

Although I am unsure of the "SF" denotation, I believe the Daiwa 14 Millionaires are reels intended for the Domestic Japanese market.

Here is a direct link to Daiwa's current Millionaire:

Daiwa lists it as a lighter saltwater game reel intended for use off a boat.

Check out the Luna 300 it should be the same reel.

Late reply, but I finally pulled the trigger.

The verdict?

Superbly machined and with just a spindle and centrifugal brakes like the old Abus.

Suits me as mag brakes are at zero on my reels.

Supposedly designed more for jigging but beautiful for casting.

Abu 2500 sized tank and a new favourite.

Is the level wind synchronized on that one?

Hi.
The levelwind disengages to cast, but moves if line is taken under drag pressure.
