Got an issue on some of these......when going from free spool...and pushing the drag lever up to engage the drag/spool...the reel remains in free spool.

Any ideas?

Check out the drag lever and cam. Have they been apart at all? Running particularly heavy drags?

Is it possible for the cam to jump over the pins inside the lever ?
