@ Lee, I currently dont have any camera, Im using my phone  ;D

@ Tom, I've been comtenplating the GoPro cameras as an option lately, how its the quality of the pictures? no much into video currently but its a nice option to have if need it.

Picture and video are great. Most of the action pics and videos on my website are GoPro.  The still shots of merchandise are regular camera. The camera is waterproof to 35m, and you can buy an optional housing to go 100m deep.
Once you get the hang of the video, it's great! You can start and stop with voice commands(Hero5) and then with the editor you can pull pics where you want to.

Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.-Sal

I couldn't find the double tap setting on my phone. I think it might be for a later versions of android. Perhaps proprietary. I did however find a setting to put a shortcut for the camera on the lock screen. It's much faster. Glad I found this thread.

I also found a free app that allows for background filming. Basically runs the camera and you are able to still use the phone like normal. Going to test it out the next time I go out.
