So,I have it apart..and I'm sure I will need some more help..but for now... the line roller is not like the ones I've seen,,not a metal screw..I tried to unscrew,but either it's not intended to come off,or it's just really tight. Does it unscrew?

Yes it does. You might give it a soak in some penetrating oil for a bit before trying againg... Jeff
