Looks like something discussed elsewhere on this site, but basically a conventional reel, slung under the rod like a spinning reel, but with a conventional reel.  Used as ajigging reel.   Bill
It may not be very productive,
but it's sure going to be interesting!

Always interesting to see innovative new designs, that's what caught my eye. But a level wind on such a narrow reel seems kinda wacky.  ::)

Wierd...could it possibly be some kind of fly reel??? It does mention rafts on the side of the spool. Never seen anything like that.

Of course now I have to Google it!!😁

And what's a "Drofessional"?

someone who was questioned about making a geared fly reel moocher w/ belt-driven levelwind
& replied, "I'M NOT DRUNK -- I'M A PROFESSIONAL!!!"  ...but it all slurred together
...was prob. swaying, like he was on a raft, too  ;D ;D ;D

Very curious ??? High speed gear system 2.6:1 is not high speed. .3/100 - is that .3 PE 100yds or .3mm 100m - either way that ain't going to cut it for a fly reel or jigging reel. Seems to be very small so my guess would be an underhand baitcaster :-\

Bill's right. It looks like a Japanese raft/boat reel, a unique style of fishing in Japan.

Since it has a line guide, maybe a mooching type of reel?
