Cant believe I did this!

I fully serviced and fixed the level wind issue on my friends 965 International.. I tightening the last two screws which hold in the guts ,drag,etc..and SNAP ! the screw busted off,,ughh I am so upset...because I am sure I can`t fix it myself.. what are my options?

Take the side plate off and center tap the broken screw and dill it out take an E_Z out and remove the screw.

Take the side off the reel & see what is sticking out.

May be easier than you think , take it apart.

Use a Dremel blade to cut a slot in the stump ( if there is one).

The you can just unscrew it with a regular screwdriver.

Not really , that is a shoulder screw , i don`t think that you bottomed out . The screw should be loose in the hole . As crazy as it may sound try a pencil with a eraser.
