I bought a 7540 Tiburon made SST which was a dream to work on.  The fit and finish is.phenominal and the annodizing really done well.  The 7524 was made by Okuma.  Fit and finish ish was close, annodizing seemed well applied.  On the Okuma made the screws were both greased and lock tighted.  The reel was well greased and the bearings we're stamped Japan.  On the 7524 the drag washer almoasrt seemed glued, it was that tight of a fit.  One miss for me was hiding under the drag washer. A good portion of the annodizing seemed to have been milled off after it's application leaving bare aluminum.  Even well greased it seems like a problem just waiting to happen.

I don't know what to use this reel for yet but I'm already liking it.  Narrower than a Penn 501, big drag, automatic two speed - it's just interesting!  Can't wait to get over to the islands and hang a yellow tail with it.
