Not sure if I posted pics before, but did a search and could not find

Abu Garcia 6000 Red that as seen better days, was able to take all corrosion off the  side plate with a dremel and polishing compound, put a new frame, new drag washer,upgraded the gears to 4.7:1 that I purchase from Jerry at Hookless.com, also CT conversion bar , Knob from a Mitchel, arm from a winwang chinese reell, the reel as bushing, perfect for Kayak fishing
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

It's a good reel and needs to get fishing,  I'd take it every day.   Nice 👍 job.🎣

It kinda reminds me of a Calcutta 700 with a spool that looks way too small for the sideplates. It probably will fish well with all the work you put into it!

Frame?  Did you do a CT conversion Marc or did it come that way?  Looks just perfect to me.

Normal frame, I removed the slotted line guide post, replaced it with SS T insert, removed the worm gear assembly and replaced it with a CT bar
