Just got off the phone with Alan. Here is his quick report on the Intrepid 7 day:

Current conditions - Massive traffic jams in LA with estimated delays of up to 8 hours. Alan has detoured to 101 coastal scenic route and his cousin elected to pull over and wait it out.

Snotty seas was the norm at Alijos and the day after they left the edge of Dana hit and brought 35' swell with it. It is a good thing they missed it. On the return they got on a nice YT paddy bite yielding something like 16 YT in 30 min.

Fishing was a pick bite with light leaders leading the pack with the most bites for YFT and YT.
All the gear held up great with 0 failures. Palomar to hook 0 failures, spectra to leader 0 failures.
The only failures were a lot of chewed through leaders (Seaguar and Black Water 40# and 50 #).
The fishing reports said YFT 50-90# at Alijos.

Richie landed 2 YFT and 12 YT
Alan landed 1 YFT and 9 YT
Roger landed 1 YFT and 10 YT

Alan will update this report when he gets back,
Jim N.
