Bronson Reel Co ???

Reel says Viking 150 yds. Bronson Reel Co, Bronson Mich USA. Is this rare or valuable? A buddy brought it to get working. Reel now works and looks as here:

It actually says 150 yds on the foot. They're not overly valuable, although the 150 version was only cataloged in 1939 & 40. In 1939, as with most of the earlier models, the "Viking" was renumbered and the 150 yd. size was added, but without a torpedo grip. The 150 yd. size was be designated the No.600A, the 250 yd. size the No.600B and the 300 yd. size the No.600BW. The "Viking" model was discontinued after the 1940 season.

Great thanks for the info. I saw my typo after I posted ::) and then reread. I will blame it on the wicked wind storm here and my German beer.

Would it be something someone here might be interested in? My buddy may shelve it but he is not a collector .
