Steve, do you still have that "9"?
If so, and if you need a plate — I have a lot of these in different colors. 

Thank you very much Fred.  I bought a new tail plate but it does not match the chalky brown of the head plate.  It's going to be embarrassing to post a photo because the reel has almost no chrome left on it.  Just a sentimental sort of thing because it was my first conventional reel.

Maybe a new head plate to match the newer tail plate — and some new chrome.
