Okuma convector cv55l high speed upgrade

Jimmer and Zward thanks for the info,

Zward , we have a couple of CV-55Ls with pour drags. I plan on replacing the drags with carbontex washers so I would like to speed them up at the same time.
Did you just replace the main gear, pinion and drag washers?
I may ask a few more questions if I go and do this.

I also converted a new one with the plastic hold plate back to a seperate metal hold plate and the plastic spool bearing stabilizer. This requires the correct screw sets and a half moon cover for the gear drop down.
