TRQ40NLD2 Problem looking for any information

Good afternoon guys! I have a new torq 40 2 speed and when I tip it so the handle is down the spool stops! I have changed the spring that separates the drag plate from the spool there was factory shims behind the right spool bearing that removes right to left play when in use. Has anyone seen this or can give me a clue as to what would be next... when you tip the reel the spool shifts down and I guess is putting the breaks on!!

Missing shims ? You can also try shimming the right side bearing. Alan brought this up it has worked for me in the past when dealing with this... Jeff
