The fish (I assume a YT) takes off on a run and his line appears to cross Alan's (and a couple of others too), cutting it and losing the fish.
Pretty common on a busy boat when the bite turns on...

yeah, it was a slow bite, too!  sealions were taking half the fish.  very frustrating.
