Great features on trolling reels , surf reels too (especially at night ) .

Anyway , I love the sound of the clicker in the morning

Thanks.  For two more cents buy the clicker model ,  many a good fisherman has been awakened by the noise and it generally improves the day.   
   Hint...   turn it off and just keep one eye 👁 open.   🧜‍♂️🎣🧜‍♂️

Voted; "must have", since the word "conventional" was used. Don't gotta have it for a baitcaster. Great alert for trolling and it let's everyone else on the immediate vicinity know that I hooked-up(total shameless ego).
