Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.   Alto Mare

No idea who Benny is

Benny is our inhouse guy that likes to use big game reels to fish trout and green bass

Alex, that's not Benni, that's Marlo.  Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Donnyboat

Benni & Marlo have friends all over the world, cheers Don.

Ha!  Last year I took my new surface iron rig down to my local regional park fishing pond so I could learn/get used to casting it (I'm a mediocre caster, but getting better).  I'm chucking an iron (sans hook) halfway down the length of the pond (away from where anybody is fishing, heck its only 20 feet deep at most) and the handful of local regulars that are there fishing for trout and catfish are all watching with interest.  Finally one of them walks over while I am taking a 12oz break and asks me what I'm fishing for - I wish I had a really snappy answer about something like a Santa Ana River Giant Squid run but alas, I told the truth.  But after seeing these photos I am beginning to think that maybe casting a Berkeley Mouse tail on 2# leader and fishing for stocker trout may get me prepared in the event I ever have to try and cast an anchovy with my Avet JX... :D
