Hi Alan, I got your name from Mark ***** as he was helping me fix a Penn 16/0 I just bought the other day.  I'm trying to see if there is a way to determine when the reel I have was manufactured.  Are there any clues or identifiers on the reel that might help? Any guess on an approx value?  Appreciate any info you can provide.  Stay healthy. Jeff
