TLD15 drag range

I have six TLD15s. The newer one has a large drag range, starts to engage drag soon as you leave free spool. The older ones only start to engage drag about the last 1/3 before strike. Both older and newer set about 4 pounds at strike. Any way to correct this?

just by grinding down the cam.  it's the ramp that is built into lever.  i've done it a couple times and just messed it up.   :-\

You could you try replacing the old with new cams from Shimano ? they are not too expensive.

I have some TLD 15 "lever shaft body's" that are at least 2 years old. They are new. I can send you one so you can see the difference.
